The world as we know it will never be the same. We’ve lost a loving caring mother, grandmother and a friend..Irene as I knew her was a very kind and genuine lady. Heaven has gained another angel. She went home to be with her family who also has left us to be with the Lord and her family in Heaven. Rest In Peace, Irene , you will be surely missed.
Thank you so much . This means a lot

Thank you
To the Vertullo Sisters and Family, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I know there are no words to comfort you, but you can rejoice in the love of life and family that she imparted to you and that will help you keep her spirit alive. Even though it has been decades since we were neighbors, I remember your home was always happy and friendly, and your mom was always kind. We shared many laughs and I remember joining you all for many playdays and family dinners filled with love and laughter. i’m sure she was an awesome grandma, too. You have our deepest sympathies.
Remember the love, not the loss. My heart goes out to all the Vertullo family but especially her daughters. Just know that your mom has become your angel. We are here for you.
I will always remember how much help my sister-in-law Irene was to me as I struggled with work, school, and raising my two sons. It was at a time when there was little support for single mothers and Irene was always there to take care of my boys, meet them after school, and make sure they were always safe and loved. I hope she knows how I treasured her help at this time in my life. She will always be in my heart along with my parents and my sister. My condolences to my beautiful nieces, Lisa, Cyndi, Theresa, and Irene. I love you with all my heart and soul.
Even though it has been years since I have seen her, Aunt Irene has a permanent place in my heart. As a young kid, I will always remember how loving and kind she was to my brother and I especially after our parents split up. I still remember the baby blue suite I wore when Barbara and I were ring boy and flower girl in your wedding. You will always be in my prayers along with grandma, grandpa, aunt Chris and all of our family. My sincerest condolences go out to my cousins Lisa, Cindy, Theresa and Irene. I love you guys.
Thank you so much
I am so sorry. Aunt Irene will definitely be missed. I have great memories of her and I escaping out to the stoop (yes for a quick cigarette) at Grandma and Grandpa’s when conversations around the table got too heated with politics. And that happened a lot. I will treasure those memories of her. Love you Aunt Irene!!
I would sneak ciggs w her too Shannon . Thank you do much for sharing
