Jack A. Zizzo, age 91, of Ridge, New York died Wednesday, September 30, 2020. Jack was born October 7, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the late Charles and the late Elizabeth (Bello) Zizzo. He is survived by two loving daughters, Elizabeth (Dan) Onorato and Jacqueline (Kevin) O'Connor. He also has six cherished grandchildren, and eight cherished great grandchildren. Jack was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marie in 2018. Celebration of the Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 9:30 am on Monday, October 5, 2020 at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Burial will follow in Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, New York. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2020 from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Social distancing mandates will be followed. Jack was a wonderful friend to my parents, Blanche and Chris Simonsen, for over 25 years. They spent many happy times with both Jack and Marie. Thank you Jack for all your warmth, care, fun and support. Mom loved being part of the Italian Club that you so astutely presided over. Memories were many, but highlights included travel to St Augustine beach and The Villages in FL! What a life well lived and we know you are at peace with Marie in heaven.
