Virginia M. Edwards, age 92, of Rocky Point died Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Virginia was born April 15, 1928 in Queens, New York. She is the daughter of the late William and the late Mary (Schroeder) Pfleiderer. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Arthur Edwards, Jr. in 2014. She is survived by her loving children, Janet (the Late John) Hawley of Rocky Point, New York, Susan (William) Connors of Setauket, New York, Karen (Gerard) Thompson of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Arthur (Carol) Edwards III of Setauket, New York. She is the dear sister of Dolores Travers of Southampton, New York. Virginia is also the grandmother of ten cherished grandchildren and twelve precious great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her sons, Kenneth and Michael. All arrangements, including private cremation have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Memorial Visitation will be on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Rocky Point Funeral Home. New York State mandates for social distancing will be followed. Masks must be worn. Please be mindful that visitors are limited to 50 people in the building at a time and be respectful to those who may be waiting to visit by keeping your stay brief, if possible. Memorial mass will be celebrated 9:30 AM, Saturday, May 1, 2021 at St. Louis deMontfort R.C. Church, 75 New York Avenue, Sound Beach, New York. Cremated remains will be placed in a niche beside her husband in Calverton National Cemetery on Monday, May 3, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to: The Kenneth J.
