Catherine M. Mastropaolo, age 98, of Ridge, NY died Sunday, February 3, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and the late Henrietta (Mancini) Vella. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles C. Mastropaolo on 07/06/1978. She was a Home Maker in Ridge, NY. She is survived by her beloved daughters: Theresa Crandall of Stony Brook, NY, Maryann Healy of Amawalk, NY, sons: Charles Mastropaolo of Oyster Bay , NY, Peter Mastropaolo of Miller Place, NY, sister: Yolanda Comito of Stewart Manor, NY; eleven Grand Children: Tracy, Christopher, John, Gabrielle, Denis, Christine, Paul, David, Dena, Peter, Nikki Anne: and ten Great Grand Children: Christian, Emily, Tyler, Micaela, Alexis, Christopher, Aliajah, Isabel, Luke, and Nicholas. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am on Wednesday, February 6 at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY with Rev. Richard P. Hoerning officiating. A Private Burial to follow. Calling hours will be Tuesday, February 5 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY.
