Joseph Kohn

Joseph Kohn, age 93, of Ridge, NY died Tuesday, February 26, 2013. Mr. Kohn was born January 16, 1920 in Queens, NY. He is the son of the late Paul and the late Rose (Kozich) Kohn. He served in the Navy during World War II from 11/17/1943 to 01/09/1946. He was employed by Sperry Gyroscope, Lake Success, NY as a Manager. He is survived by his beloved wife: Lillian(Kroutil) Kohn , daughter: Carolynn Tito of Ridge, NY, son: John Kohn of St. James, NY, sister: Frances Bryce of Massapequa, NY, brother: Paul Kohn of Massapequa, NY; three Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild. A service burial will be held 10:00 am on Friday, March 1 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 716 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY, with Rev. Jeffrey H. Kolbo officiating. Burial will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton on Friday, March 1 at 11:00 am. Calling hours will be Thursday, February 28 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. .
