Dorothy A. Dochtermann, age 99, of Rocky Point, NY died Tuesday, April 2, 2013. Born in the Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Albert B. and the late Catherine (Ackermann) Peters. She was a Home Maker in Rocky Point, New York. She is survived by her beloved daughter: Joan Dochtermann of Sound Beach, NY. Predeceased by her Husband, Joyce I. Dochtermann. A funeral service will be held 8:00 pm on Friday, April 5 at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY with Rev. Charles Schnabel officiating. A private cremation was arranged by family. Internment of cremains will follow at a later date in Lutheran Cemetery, Middle Village, NY. Calling hours will be Friday, April 5 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Business Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY.
