Richard Lewis Ellingsen, age 86, of East Northport died Friday, June 7, 2013 at home. Mr. Ellingsen was born November 25, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Richard Lewis and the late Margaret Ellingsen. He is married to Bertha. He served in the Navy during World War II from 1944 to 1946. He was employed by Grumman Bethpage, NY as an Engineer. He is survived by his wife: Bertha (nee Garry), his daughter: Jean Garofalo of Mt. Sinai, NY and son: Richard Garry Ellingsen of Virginia; ; He also has 3 grandchildren. Prayers will be offered 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 11 at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. Burial will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton at 10:30 am.
