William Lasurdo

William Lasurdo, age 98, of Rocky Point died Sunday, October 20, 2013. William was born June 26, 1915 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Alexander and the late Maria (Savino) Lasurdo. He married Pauline Geraci. He was predeceased by his wife, Pauline Geraci Lasurdo on 06/25/2011. He served in the Army during World War II from 1945 to 1946. He was the owner operator of North Shore Disposal n Rocky Point. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Ann Brown of Rocky Point and son: Alexander Lasurdo of Wading River. Two brothers, Dominic of Rocky Point and Gerald of Port Jefferson. He also has six grandchildren and nine Great Grandchildren. Closing prayers will be offered 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 23 at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY with officiating. Burial will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton on Wednesday, October 23 at 10:30 am. Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 22 from 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. .
