Louise Bunicci, age 84, of Shoreham, NY died Sunday, January 12, 2014. Born October 19, 1929 in Poughkeepsie, NY. She is the daughter of the late Perceval and the late Sarah (Joseph) Morgan. She is survived by her loving husband: JohnBunicci, and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am on Thursday, January 16 at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY with Rev. Richard P. Hoerning officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Port Jefferson, NY. Calling hours will be Wednesday, January 15 from 3PM to 7PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. I am very sorry to hear of Louise’s passing. She was a wonderful beach buddy all my life ever since I was a child. As we both got older, beach meetings grew fewer and fewer, but I will always remember her swimming for long periods in the Sound we loved so much. She was a part of my childhood I will treasure forever, especially when I go to “our” beach. May she rest in eternal peace forever.
