Carl Kaplan

Carl Mayer Kaplan, age 98, of Lake Ronkonkoma, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014. Carl was born February 26, 1916 in Brooklyn, NY. He was the son of the late Nathan and the late Beatrice (Rosenberg) Kaplan. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Gertrude in 2002. He served in the Coast Guard during World War II from 06/26/1942 to 11/28/1945. He was a Restaurateur in New York City, NY. He is survived by his loving daughter: Nancy Kaplan of Rocky Point, NY, brother: Irving Kaplan of MD, and his Grand Daughter, Jessica Malbeck. Burial will be in Mt. Ararat Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY on Friday, April 11 at 2:30 pm with the Coast Guard providing Military Honors.
