It is with great sadness that I have read about the passing of Tony. He was a wonderful person! I enjoyed the many years that we worked together. I especially appreciated the times when he would return to school on Monday with a smile on his face because he won at Atlantic City. My condolences to the Szymanski family.
thank you for helping me get thru Algebra and those tough for me math classes during the mid to late 70’s you were a real gentleman rest in peace scott cronin class of 1979
I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Szymanski in both the educational and home setting. I know his family is enduring a difficult time right now, but it soothes the soul to know he is free, and experiencing the wonders of God that we can hardly begin to comprehend here in the material world. He was a progressive man, allowing me to date his then 14-year-old girl and take her into NYC for a Broadway Show and dinner! My heartfelt condolences to the entire Szymanski family, and to Barbara especially. Know he is ever- safe in the hands of God, and that you will indeed see him again, bathed in the light of Divine Love… Brian
Mr. Szymanski was such an important part of the lives of hundreds upon hundreds of students in the Rocky Point school system during his tenure. He was kind, yet firm. He was professional, yet friendly. He was always available when someone needed an ear to listen or even a shoulder to cry on. His guidance, support, and dedication to all classes – especially his beloved Seniors – set an example that I sincerely hope many of us have at least attempted to follow. My prayers and thoughts are with Mrs. Szymanski, Barbara, Bob, and John – and their families. May your hearts be filled with happy memories and everlasting love. Well done, good and faithful servant. With love, Vicki (Hahn) Raney Class of 1979
