Charles E. Hopkins, age 83, of Calverton, NY died Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Born October 11, 1930 in Westchester, NY, he was the son of the late Thomas Hopkins. He was predeceased by his wife, Francis on 06/25/2007. He was employed by Ball Chain Manufacturing, Mt. Vernon, NY as a Plater. He is survived by his loving Niece, Lisa Cono of Rocky Point, NY. Predeceased by his beloved Wife, Frances Hopkins. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Monday, September 29 at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY with Monsignor William G. Breslawski Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre, Coram on Monday, September 29 at 10:45 am. Dear Charles family, I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know Mr. Hopkins personally , however, I would like to extend a comforting thought from the bible that encouraged me personally. It is found in John5:28,29. In part it says, “Do not marvel at this for the hour is coming when all those in Gods memory will live again.” Yes, God promises that we can have the hope of seeing our dear loved ones again here on earth full of life and health.
