Emma Kearns

Emma Frances Kearns, age 109, of Wading River, NY died Sunday, October 5, 2014. Born March 29, 1905 in Atlantic City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Frank and the late Anna Schuman. She was employed by Bell Telephone, NY as an Operator. She is survived by her loving daughter: Carol Damiano of Ridge, NY, sister: Joan Rehr of Atlantic City, NJ, and brother: Sonny Schuman of PA. She also survived by three cherished grandchildren, Karen, Thomas and Robert, and five Great Grandchildren. Predeceased by her beloved Husband, James Kearns. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, October 9 at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY with the Monsignor William G. Breslawski, Pastor officiating. A private cremation was arranged by family.
