Anthony D. Maggio, age 86, of Ridge, NY died Thursday, October 30, 2014. Anthony was born January 18, 1928 in Ridgewood, NY. He is the son of the late Leonard and the late Anna (Alesi) Maggio. He served in the Army during World War II. He was employed by Super X Pharmacy in Stony Brook, NY as a Pharmacist. He is survived by three sons: Douglas Maggio of Stony Brook, NY, Gary Maggio of Farmingville, NY, and Andrew Maggio of Yaphank, NY; one sister: Nina Posa of Patchogue, NY. He also has four grand children. A mass of Christian burial will be offered 9:30am on Tuesday, November 4th at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church in Rocky Point. Burial will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY
