I write this with a heavy heart knowing that someone as special as Colleen is no longer here. I, along with many others who were blessed with the opportunity to meet and have a relationship with Colleen, will take solace in knowing that she lived a life of importance and had such a bold impact on everyone she interacted with. Never have I ever met someone who consistently had a smile on and radiated nothing but happiness and positivity. The world should be filled with many more Colleens. She was a beautiful spirit who successfully avoided being corrupted by the evils in this world and never truly understand negativity. I will live each day trying to be half the person Colleen was. I am so sorry for your loss and hope that you all can find strength through such tragedy.
My heart goes out to you. While I had only one conversation with Colleen it was one I will never forget. Just by looking at her face you could not help but smile just because she was always smiling as well. While I only found out who she was because of Regan. Colleen had one the biggest impacts of my life just from talking to her once. She told me it was okay to be different and that with her smile she always had in kept me going during a hard time of mine. My prayers go out to you and your family. RIP fly high beautiful girl!
Our deepest condolences on the loss of Colleen. Words are just inadequate; we hope your beautiful memories bring you some comfort at this time.

My heart aches for you and your family and cannot imagine what you are going through, nor can I find the words to express my condolences. I will hold you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
I am truly sorry for the loss of such a beautiful soul but feel blessed to have known Colleen. Colleen was always the quickest to run up to me and give me a big hug or send a huge smile my way in the hallway at school or just around the block. She always made sure to run up and say hello when passing my house and was a great friend. Her infectious smile always reminded me that I should be smiling too. Colleen taught me many things in these years of friendship and I am truly grateful for that. I will always remember that beautiful smile that came along with Colleen along with the unconditional love she had for the world and all the people she came in contact with. Such a beautiful girl inside and out will be missed and never forgotten. Rest easy beautiful.
I simply cannot fathom the grief the family of a young daughter must be going through at this time. Please be assured you are thought of with warm and compassionate hearts by all your friends at this most difficult of all times. We will keep you in our prayers and think of you often as you endure this loss. Pete & Julie Szulewski

I’m so sorry for the loss of precious Colleen. Standing in front of her casket last night felt so unreal. She was and is a beautiful soul. Your family is in my prayers.
My sincere condolences on the loss of your precious daughter, Colleen. My first interaction with Colleen was several years ago during a Girl Scout outing singing Christmas carols in one of the Leisure communities. She came up to me and said “Hi!” with a big smile on her face. I asked her if she was having fun singing and, of course, she said Yes. She was such a beautiful ray of sunshine on that cold night. Any time I would see her at the school or in the area, she was smiling and enjoying life to it’s fullest. I truly believe that she lived a fuller life than most of us in our 30’s, 40’s and 50’s (like me). We could really all learn something from her. You raised a daughter who was an inspiration to me and no doubt to many others. May God bring you peace in knowing that you were truly blessed to be given the opportunity to shape, teach, care for and love this most special girl. Sending you and your family lots of love ~
