Seymour Dorfman, age 83, of Ridge, NY died Saturday, July 18, 2015. Seymour was born October 26, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Harry and Fay (Foxman) Dorfman. He was employed by Sperry Corp., Lakeville, NY as an Electrical Engineer. He is survived by his beloved wife, Madelyn (Saul) Dorfman, his loving daughter Debra Dorfman-Botens, son, Robert Dorfman, and his cherished Grandson, Daniel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 22 at the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY with Rabbi Lawrence M. Colton officiating. Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 22 from 1-2 pm at the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. A private cremation has been arranged by family.
