William Cassidy

William Cassidy, age 76, of Rocky Point, NY died Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Born July 1, 1939 in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late John and Alice (Goodenough) Cassidy. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was warehouse manager employed by Key Foods, Brooklyn, NY. He is survived by his beloved wife: Betty (Harvey) Cassidy, loving daughters: Anne Friello (Steven) of Rocky Point, NY, Alice Cordova (Angel) of Ridgewood, NY, Betty Love (Grant) of South Carolina, Kathleen Cosme of NJ, son: William Cassidy of Ronkonkoma, , sisters: Maureen Biebrich of Florida, June Berrios of New Jersey, and eleven cherished Grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Friday, December 11 at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. A private cremation will follow. Entombment of cremains will take place in Calverton National Cemetery at a later date.Calling hours will be Thursday, December 10 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY.
