Murry P. Vecchio, age 88, of Astoria died Friday, April 8, 2016. Mr. Murry was born December 11, 1927 in New York City, NY. He is the son of the late Peter and Mildred (Verona) Vecchio. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War. He was employed by Baxter Brothers L.I.C, NY as a Sheet Metal Worker. He is survived by Nephews, Victor Vecchio of East Hampton, NYand John Vecchio of California and his sister in law, Mary Vecchio of Rocky Point, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 9:30 am on Tuesday, April 12 at St. Anthony Of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY.
