Maria Cani

Maria Cani, age 92, of Rocky Point died Sunday, September 11, 2016. Maria was born August 21, 1924 in Canicatti, Italy. She is the daughter of the late Diego and Rosario (Lombardo) Cipollina. She was employed by the Long Island Garment Workers Union, as a Seamstress. She is survived by two sons: Salvatore Cani of Rocky Point, NY and Anthony Cani of Whitestone, NY. She is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Closing prayers will be offered 12:30 pm on Wednesday, September 14 at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, September 13 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY.
