Raymonde Taaffe

Raymonde Taaffe, age 90, of Shoreham, NY died Saturday, October 1, 2016. Ms. Taaffe was born October 13, 1925 in Ottawa, Canada . She is the daughter of the late Achille and Fidelia (Labelle) Guibord. She had been employed by Michelin Tire and Rubber Company in South Carolina. She is survived by two daughters: Michele Buckingham (Brian) of Shoreham, NY and Renee Taaffe of Montana and two sons: William Taaffe (Linda) of Virginia and Steven Taaffe (Miyuki) of Maspeth, NY and her sister, Anita Clement of Ottawa, Canada. She also has six grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. Prayers will be offered on Thursday, October 6 at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. Her cremains will be placed at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn, NY after a private cremation. Visiting hours will be Thursday, October 6 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY.
