Clifford J. Lambertson, age 81, of Middle Island, NY died Wednesday, June 14, 2017. Clifford was born August 5, 1935 in Jamaica, NY. He is the son of the late John and Marie (Clifford) Lambertson. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict from 09/09/1954 to 08/25/1956. He is survived by two sisters, Kathryn Clifford of Middle Island, NY and Carol Jensen of Florida. Devoted uncle of, Kathryn Neumann, Melissa Bender, Bronwyn McCracken, Patti Lambertson Callahan, Shawn Jensen, Robert Lanciki, Richard Lambertson, Robert & Kaitlynn Thomas, Heather Bais & Mariah, Nicole, Madison & Meagan McCracken & a host of other beloved Nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered 9:00am on Saturday, June 17 at St. Anthony Of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury' NY. Visiting hours will be Friday, June 16 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. Your heart has always been of the sweetest nature. Your prayers always felt from many miles away. Your sense of humor remembered even by my children, your great niece and nephews. Your love to all of us has been the deepest and returned in same even though we were so far away from you. Our talks on the phone were always so much fun and will be missed tremendously but are held ever so dearly in our hearts! You never had a bad word to say about anyone and that has been such an inspiration to do many people, especially me! I prayed for you throughout my time of having you in my life as you did me and I will continue my prayers now to you instead of for you. I know that you are blessed now as you are SEEING THE FACE OF GOD! I can only pay that I too will be blessed enough to join you one day. I will miss you dearly but know you are happy with your mom and dad! May you rest in peace. I love you. Rosie
