  1. Always will remember you as one of the nicest people to be around. Bike riding with you and Rich and the rest of our old gang. Wish I could have gotten up to LI to see you before this. You will be missed.

  2. Roger was always generous and kind to my family. He watched over my parents and children with love and encouragement. He was a wonderful friend to me. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
    With love -Wendy,Sarah and Sean

  3. One of the last good guys from the old crowd. From kids growing up in RP through various stages of crazy in our youth, Roger always had a big heart and would help anyone need. Although we only kept in touch the last five years on FB, I will miss him.

  4. Dear laura Craig Shane Brett and Brian so sorry for your loss your father was a wonderful man he will be missed tremendously

  5. “Let the memories of your fathers life provide you with the comfort you need during this challenging time.”

  6. I loved him…He was like an Ox…He was a wonderful man…He lived and was loved…RIP Roger…

  7. Roger was a great friend and I am sure he will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. My heart felt condolences.

  8. A beautiful man, friend , mentor and father. I will always cherish my time with Roger. He was a man ledgends are made of. All will agree Roger was a tremendous influence whenever and where ever he would be. He will be missed by all. Rest In Peace my friend

  9. I first met ROGER in 1969 at The Grass Hut. I was 17 and he was like a big brother. We worked together for Mid River Construction. I was in the last draft for Vietnam and was gone for two years. When I came back I ran into ROGER in the new Grass Hut and we worked together into the early 1980’s. If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t have met my wife. I will always remember my years with ROGER. He will be missed by anyone he touched. Rest In Peace my friend

  10. I’ve only known Rodger for about 7 years and only through our last names on the internet. This guy ALWAYS made me feel like Family! Always warm, friendly with a great sense of humor! I have always had good conversations with him. He was a cool dude and will be missed! My only regret is that I didn’t get to know him sooner! I am so sorry for your loss.

  11. I knew Roger when we were teenagers. Roger is 5 years older than I so in our early years that was a big difference. As one of the older men in our circle of friends he was always very good to me. I knew him to be a very kind sweet gentle man always with a big smile and warm friendly countenance. He will be missed. May he Rest In Peace

  12. My deepest sympathy and infinite compassion for Roger’s family and close friends. While I didn’t interact often with Roger, all our meetings were friendly and playful. There was one particular incident that took place at Henry “Half-Can Henry” Fahrenholz’s home. Present were Roger, Tony Rubino, and me (it must have been the late 1960’s or early 70’s). What happened was so outrageously funny that every time Tony and I get together and remember the story, we still roar with laughter! Thanks and Blessings, Roger.

  13. I am so very sorry to hear of Rogers passing. We emailed each other for years and he was a very good and special friend. I remember his handsome smiling face and how we danced at Hammers pavilion long ago. He was such a good dancer. I always think of him when I hear the Song, CANDY GIRL, as we danced to that song so many times.
My sincerest condolences to his family. I will miss hearing from him. He was a great guy.
    Always in my thoughts…
    Sincerely,
    Janet Murtha and Dick Droscoski
