Richard Mandleur

Richard Mandleur, age 71, of Shoreham died Monday, March 5, 2018. Richard was born January 29, 1947 in Kew Gardens, NY. He is the son of the late Joseph and the late Frances (Byrnes) Mandleur. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1968 and received a Purple Heart Medal. He was owner of Elite Claim Service in Hicksville, NY. He is survived by his wife: Maura (Egan) Mandleur , one daughter: Diane Mandleur of Wading River, NY and two sons: Richard Mandleur of Virginia and Michael Mandleur of Wading River, NY. He also has four grandchildren, Aaron, Shauna, Talen and Callie. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered 11:00AM on Friday, March 9 at St. John The Baptist R.C. Church, 1488 North Country Road, Wading River, NY. Burial will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY. Visiting hours will be Thursday, March 8 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY.
