John Berto Bon, age 83, of Rocky Point died Tuesday, March 13, 2018. John was born March 24, 1934 in Croatia. He is the son of the late John and the late Angela (Lacoseliaz) Bon. He is survived by his wife: Aurelia (Toich) Bon and two daughters: Nevia Stepancic (Claudio) of Whitestone, New York and Irene Antolos (Danko) of Newtown, Pennsylvania, his sister: Anna Bon of Croatia and brother: Anthony Bon of Canada; He also has four grandchildren, Joseph Stepancic (Kimberly); Emily Stepancic, Alexandra Antolos and Jacqueline Antolos and 1 Great Grandchild, on the way. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered 9:00 am on Friday, March 16 at St. Anthony Of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. Entombment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram. Visiting hours will be Thursday, March 15 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. So, so sorry for your loss – I’ve been away from NY for a long time, but remember him well – I am Maria Zago’s daughter, married to Fred Muzich, son of Ive and Lina from Belej – My parents knew him well, unfortunately, they both passed in 2014.
