Alfred B. Harris

Alfred B. Harris, age 93, of Rocky Point died Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Alfred was born August 31, 1924 in New York City, NY. He is the son of the late Harry and the late Minnie (Jaffee) Harris. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II from 1942 to 1945. He was employed by the EPA in New York City, NY as an Engineer. He is survived by his daughter: Joan Harris of Scarsdale, NY and two sons: Andrew Harris of Rocky Point, NY and David Harris of Hawaii, his sister: Edith Kessler of Levittown, NY. He also has two grandchildren. Prayers will be offered with Military Honors 10:30 am on Thursday, April 12 at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd., Calverton, NY. Burial will follow. Family and friends will meet and leave 10AM Thursday, April 12 at the Rocky Point Funeral Home 603 Route 25A Rocky Point, NY 11778.
