George K. Roach, age 66, of Elmsford, NY died Wednesday, January 2, 2019. George was born May 7, 1952 in Manhattan, NY. He is the son of the late George and the late Helen (Short) Roach. He was a manager at Con Edison in New York City. He is survived by one daughter: Jennifer Testa of Nesconset, NY and four sons: Daniel Roach of Sound Beach, NY, Christopher Roach of Rocky Point, NY, Shawn Roach of Long Beach, NY and Ryan Roach of Holbrook, NY. He also has eight Grand Children. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 9:30 am on Monday, January 7 at St. Anthony Of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. Burial will follow in Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home.

My husband Jack and I are extremely saddened by George’s passing – we both worked with him at Con Edison, and he was one of the good guys, for sure – may George rest in eternal peace
A good friend; we shared many times together; you will be missed by many.
Having had the good fortune of working with George on payments industry initiatives for a number of years, I feel blessed to have known him. I heard just last week of his passing and I was so saddened by that news. However, knowing how very much he loved his wife, I was immediately comforted by the knowledge that they are now reunited. He was a wonderful man.
