Lucy Elizabeth Mitchell, age 97 of Ridge, New York passed away peacefully Monday morning April 27, 2020 at her home. She was born on August 18, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York a daughter of the late Heinrick and Louise Mueller. Lucy was preceded in death by her husband John Henry Mitchell and her 8 brothers and sisters. She was a devoted Catholic and a member of St. Anthony's Church in Rocky Point, New York. She enjoyed spending time with family, going to the casino, shopping and was famous for her shrimp cocktail. She had an amazing love for dogs and was also a very generous donor to many organizations. She was a supervisor for AT&T for many years and retired in 1987. She leaves behind many family and friends who will sadly miss her adorable smile and feisty personality.
