Ellen Battino Clark Krasinski. AKA “Ms. El” and “Elliebop”. Daughter of Eli Battino and Adrianne Epstein. Step father Zaharia Levy. Ellen leaves behind her loving husband Ted Krasinski, her loving sister Doreen and brother Morris and wife Cheryl, stepsister Joyce and husband Frank, stepbrother Alan, sisters-in-law Jackie, Emily and husband Brian, Maria, brothers-in-law John, Steven and wife Stella, and Matthew, nieces Stacy and husband David, Lyndsay and Crystal, nephews Eli and wife Ellen, Eric, Aaron, Michael, David, Danny, Raymond, Matthew and Frankie, grandniece Natalie and grandnephew Noah. Predeceased by brother in law Norman and nephew Timothy. Ellen leaves behind numerous other friends and relatives. Ellen was a cat mommy, who loved ice cream and Chinese food. She loved Halloween, Tinkerbell, reading Danielle Steele books and watching Hallmark movies. Ellen grew up in Centereach and was a 1969 graduate of Newfield HS. She also graduated Southampton college in 1973. Ellen retired from Stony Brook University Department of Dermatology in 2015 where she worked as an Administrator. Ellen loved retirement. She was a very talented maker of beaded jewelry. She taught many others in the craft, and she will be greatly missed by the beading community. Ellen was also a passionate New York Yankees fan, and truly enjoyed watching and talking about baseball. Ellen was loved by everyone she met. She was a beautiful soul who loved with all her heart. Her spirit and love of life was contagious and felt by all around her. She will be sorely missed. All arrangements including private cremation have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Memorial visiting hours are Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Religious service will be at 5:00 PM at the funeral home. New York State mandates for social distancing will be followed. Masks must be worn. Please be mindful that visitors are limited to 50 people in the building at a time and be respectful to those who may be waiting to visit by keeping your stay brief, if possible.
