Sarah Jane Hnizdo, age 95, of Wading River, New York died Sunday, June 12, 2022. Sarah Jane was born April 12, 1927 in Flushing, New York. She is the daughter of the late Andrew and the late Elizabeth (Ward) Leitch. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Hnizdo in 1981. She is survived by three loving sons, Steven of Rocky Point, New York, Alan of Colorado and Paul of Hempstead, New York. She is also the cherished grandmother of six grandchildren. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Committal prayers will be said at the Wading River Cemetery on 2289 North Wading River Road in Wading River, New York on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11:00 am.
