Lorraine Salyer

Lorraine Salyer, age 90, of St. James, New York died Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Lorraine was born October 7, 1932 in Queens, New York. She is the daughter of the late William and the late Anna (Meyer) Eickhoff. She was employed by Seaman Bus Company, Shoreham, New York as a Bus Driver. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harold in 2019 and her daughter, Susan in 1967. She is survived by her four loving daughters, Eve Miceli of St. James, New York, Dianna Lurkens of Florida, Alyson Macomb of Shoreham, New York and Beth Huppert of California. She is also the cherished grandmother of nine grandchildren and five precious great grandchildren. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. The funeral service will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 716 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Burial will follow in Washington Memorial Park, Mount Sinai, New York. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York.
