James Kidney, age 61, of Sound Beach, New York passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones. James was born November 17, 1961 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the late Jeremiah and Barbara Kidney. He was employed by Arthur Edwards Pool & Spa Centre for the past 45 years. He is survived by his beloved wife, Debra; his loving children, James, Jr. and Elizabeth; his devoted siblings, Kenneth (Carol Taylor) Kidney, Donna (Raymond) Vosilla, Catherine (Ramazan) Tomar, Thomas (Margaret) Kidney, and PeggyAnn (Matthew) Wollman; and many nieces and nephews. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Religious services will be held 8:00 pm on Monday, September 4, 2023 at the funeral home. Visiting hours will be Monday, September 4, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Friends and family will gather at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 9:00 am for a closing prayer at 10:00 am and we will go together to Washington Memorial Park for burial.
