Doris Sheenan, age 98, of Ridge, New York died Saturday, January 6, 2024. Doris was born February 1, 1925 in Astoria, New York. She is the daughter of the late Edward and the late Margaret (Welsh) Orpen. She was employed as a Nurse in New York City, New York. Loving Aunt of Kathleen Shure, devoted Great Aunt of Lauren, Keira and Ryan Fitzsimmons, Victoria Shure-Muthig, Chris Shure, Matt Shure, Jessica Robertson, Christine Robertson, Rebecca Robertson, Alaina Byrne, Thomas Byrne, Laura Byrne and Sarah Robertson. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered 12:00 pm on Tuesday, January 9 at St. Anthony Of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram, New York. Visiting hours will be Monday, January 8 from 4 PM - 6 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York.
