Carmela Mannara

Carmela Mannara, age 95, of Ridge, New York died Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Carmela was born November 15, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York. She is the daughter of the late Alberto and the late Teresa (Pentagna) Garofano. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Carmine in 2009. She was employed by AG Becker, on Wall Street, New York City, New York as a bookkeeper. She is survived by her loving children Joann Murphy of Centereach, New York, Theresa Gaeta of Mount Sinai, New York, and Robert Mannara of Florida. She also is the cherished grandmother of five grandchildren and five cherished great grandchildren. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at St. Mark's RC Church, 105 Randall Road, Shoreham, New York. Burial will follow in Washington Memorial Park, Mount Sinai, New York. Visiting hours will be Monday, February 19, 2024 from 1:00PM - 5:00PM at the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York.
