Joan Weilbacher

Joan Weilbacher, age 89, of Rocky Point, New York died Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Joan was born December 9, 1934 in Queens, New York. She is the daughter of the late Henry and the late Dorothy (Schlette) Kress. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Warren in 2015. She was employed in sales by United Utensco in Port Washington, New York. She is survived by by her loving son, Warren R. Weilbacher of Rocky Point, New York and her dear brother, Robert Kress of Pennsylvania. She is also the cherished grandmother of Peter Weilbacher and Jillian Ortiz-Weilbacher and her precious great grandson, Jackson Ortiz-Weilbacher. All arrangements including private cremation have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 9:30 AM for a closing prayer at 10:00 AM and we will proceed to Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, New York for placement of the urn in the Columbarium.
