June Mary Taylor, age 86, of Ridge, New York passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024. June was born June 19, 1938 in Woodside, New York. She is the daughter of the late John and Mary (Mulligan) Dryer. In May 1962, June married her beloved husband, John P. Taylor, who was born in County Leitrim, Ireland. John predeceased her in September. They have three loving children, Barbara (Pat) Daly of Wesbury, New York; William (Edward) Taylor of Arlington, Texas; and Eileen (Harry) Breheny of Mount Vernon, New York. June has one precious granddaughter, Jennifer Daly. June was employed by CUNY, Queens, New York as a Secretary, and worked at LaGuardia Community College from 1980 to 2001. John and June lived in Elmhurst, and moved to Ridge in 2004. They spent many wonderful winters in Boynton Beach, Florida. June is survived by her devoted cousins, Anne, Lorraine, and Patti and nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Ireland. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am on Monday, November 18, 2024 at St. Mark's RC Church, 105 Randall Road, Shoreham, New York. Burial will follow in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, New York. Visiting hours will be Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 2 PM - 6 PM at the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York.
