Rita Brown

Rita Brown, age 96, of Ridge, New York died Sunday, March 2, 2025. Rita was born February 25, 1929 in Germany. She is the daughter of the late Richard and the late Erna (Winter) Frentz. She was employed by Pilgrim State Hospital, Brentwood, New York as a Therapy Aide. She is survived by her loving children Karen Brown of Ridge, New York, Desiree Jessop of Mount Sinai, New York and Kathleen Scherer of Catskill, New York. She is also the cherished grandmother of Christopher Ryan Jessop, Daniel J. Jessop, and her precious great grandchild, Jax Beltre-Jessop. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Religious services will be held 3:00 pm on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 9:30 am for a 10:00 am closing prayer and we will proceed to Washington Memorial Park, Mount Sinai for burial.
