A true gentleman with a passion for students and athletes! May his memories be eternal.
Mr. Gulizio was really a good man. Glad to have know him at HHS.
Rest in Peace Mr. Gulizio,
Rest In Peace Joe. Sending my condolences to his children.
A wonderful teacher and supporter. We were so lucky to have him as a teacher early in his career. God bless!
What a wonderful person Joe was! We had the privilege of knowing “Jumpin’ Joe” Gulizio at St. James Elementary when he picked up the “money bags” every day for many years. He always had a smile on his face, a joke or two to tell and a kind word for all! We will miss him, but it’s good to know that his beautiful “Rae” of sunshine is in Heaven to greet him! Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends!
Joe was a wonderful gentleman. I had the supreme pleasure of working with his beautiful wife, Rae. They were the most kind and sweet couple. May they both rest in peace together.
We were all so lucky to have Rae and Joe in our lives.
You are finally home and in no more pain. I will always remember you talking about your children and the love you share. Welcome home, job well done!
The Beltrani family would like to extend our sincere sympathy to your family.
We remember your Dad as a neighbor who always took the time to stop to
chat and inquire about our family. As a guidance councilor he always was most
sincerely concerned about his students. Always a gentleman.
My sincere condolences Danny.. this is Will OShaughnessy…
I was just thinking about your Dad.. and what a great Baseball and soccer coach he was to me.. a true mentor.. I was on the field with my son Giovanni.. he’s 15 and Im training him in baseball.. here in Tucson , Arizona in 106 degrees a..I mentioned my greatest coaches ..one being my dads brother, my uncle tom , who played AAA ball and could have been pro if not going to Nam.. and your Dad.. MY dad passed on too back in March 2020..
we lived just down the road from you guys and your dad always offered me a ride ..
seems like so many many years ago but when the angle calls.. i hear the bell.. weird to say that.but its true.. My mom is on LI now with my sis..
i offer you my deepest prayers and blessings.. but our dads are looking dad at us…and Coach Joe is making sure we dont throw too many curve balls..
