To Diane and family,
My deepest condolences. I have such great memories of Olga from our days in LIC. May your many memories comfort you and give you strength. With sympathy, Donna Marto
I feel fortunate to have enjoyed Olga’s laughter when we shared family time with you. Her passing is a deep loss.
I just found out…my lunch buddy at 65 Court Street, my director at Vernon Boulevard. What a lady. The last time I saw Olga was in the lobby of 65 Court street as I was going upstairs into the elevator, and she was going out the door, and said “I’m officially retiring”. I replied, “All the best to you, enjoy”. I remember the first day Olga started working as an administrator after leaving the teacher trade, quiet and unassuming, but soon comfortable. When her mother died, I gave her an inscribed Scofield Bible, which afterwards she told me she still had. I hope whomever now holds that Bible is comforted by the words within.
