We love you, dad <3

I had the pleasure to work with Ron for many years. He was the consummate gentleman and professional. My heart goes out to his family and also to his BSE family. My prayers are with you all as you grieve your loss.

I remember Ronald as one of the cool older Ronkonkoma cousins when Uncle Corky & Aunt Julia would visit my grandma at Aunt Rose’s in Franklin Square. He was so patient with us younger kids bugging him to play!
I’m so sorry and pray for comfort and peace for all who loved him.

My deepest condolences to the family…Ron cherished each of you dearly. He told some great stories of good times shared by all. Ron was a great mentor, friend and sales person throughout my years of working with him he has taught me so much. He will so sadly be missed may he keep smiling from above.

I am simply crushed and heartbroken to learn of Ron’s passing, despite my knowledge of his battle. Although we have not yet been introduced, I thought it was important to express how much respect I, and I am sure many others, had for your husband/father. Despite our similar age, Ron’s mentoring most likely had the greatest impact on my life as it relates to the challenges with balancing family, work, and life in general. Ron often spoke of the love for the three of you (of course with the occasional addition of humor that Ron, and Ron only, could intwine), and quite frankly, that’s a bit rare in today’s world. I’m not sure I’ve met anyone who enjoyed the relationship with his wife and his daughters as much as Ron did with each of you. Honestly, it was remarkable and even astounding at times. I believe anyone who was fortunate enough to cross paths with Ron is a better person today because of him. Heaven has gained a true angel. May each sunrise ease your pain and may fond memories warm your hearts forever.

I always enjoyed when “Rep” Ron dropped by Sam Tell/Premium Supply/Tassone Equipment – to sell his wares. Well, “Rep” Ron quickly became “Friend” Ron.
I’m very sorry for your loss. He was a great guy and will be missed.

I met Ron when I and my wife became members of the Setauket Yacht Club. I sailed with him as part of his Tuesday night racing crew. Ron was very skilled, shared his knowledge and had a great amount of patience. We at the now Port Jefferson Yacht Club will miss you old friend.

I was very lucky to get to know you. May you rest in peace.

Barbara my heart goes out to you and your girls. Thinking of Ron brings so many happy memories to mind, it was so much fun to work with him, always laughing, even when he corrected my “typing” errors. I was so hoping I would be able to see him again, to share all the good times. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved and knew him. Rest in Peace, Captain Ron.

I went to high school with Ron. I have not seen him since graduation. But this came up in my Facebook feed and I wanted to stop by and pay my respects.
I remember him as being a compassionate person , even keeled and honest sincere person.

I’ve knowne Ron for some 40 years. We all know the last years have been very challenging for him. I watched Ron meet those challenges head on. I can only hope that if I am ever met with similar obstacles, I can muster the same courage and class that Ron showed to us. He was, truely, a Prince among men and will be sorely missed by us all. Rest in peace.

Being part of the weekend raftup’s in Port Jeff Harbor was some of the most memorable times of me and my family. I remember projecting movies onto the mainsail of one of the boats, one year we of course played Captain Ron. Dani, Jaqui, my son Neal and the Reynolds and VanSicklen kids all grew together.
We raced together on my C&C and Ron’s Catalina. I have a room full of trophy’s that Ron helped me gather.
We both served as commodore or the Setauket Yacht Club over the years and unfortunately never got together after we played golf together at Rock Hill. Rest in Peace Captain Ron, all our love Charlie Denise and Neal

I was so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. I have fond memories of him at our extended Rivellese family gatherings. Sending my sincerest condolences to all his family.
