When I was a little girl Aunt Sheila would drive me to dance lessons because my mother had so many babies to care for. At my uncle’s wake she told me that she used to enjoy watching me sing “I’m going to wash that man right out of my hair”. We laughed… May she rest in Peace.

April 22, 1925 ~ June 30, 2021
Sheila Schweizer (nee O’Sullivan) of Mount Sinai, NY, formerly of Tappan, NY, passed away peacefully on June 30th at the age of 96. Sheila was predeceased by her wonderful and loving husband of 64 years, Conrad Schweizer. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Patrick and Daniel. Sheila is survived by her adoring children, Daniel Schweizer (Adrienne) and Diane Snyder (Jerry), 3 devoted grandchildren Diana (Paul), Gerard (Kate) and Emma (Ralph). Sheila also leaves behind 3 beautiful great-grandchildren.
Sheila also leaves behind many wonderful nieces and nephews who were an important part of her life. Sheila was deeply loved and will be missed by all.

Sheila was my Godmother, always in the background, always communicating with Christmas cards and the short messages they contained. I regret I didn’t know her and Uncle Connie better. My wife, daughters and I have been living in Florida for the past 40+ years . She was the cousin of my father, Lieutenant William J Sullivan, NYPD, of the Bronx Sullivan’s. Sheila I pray that you and Connie are together again in heaven, and that your family left on this earth can take comfort that you are at peace. God Bless You, John Patrick.
