  3. candleOur deepest condolences for the Wilkins family words are hard to express the sorrow we feel for the loss of our dearest friend who was like a brother to us. He will be sorely missed. We thank God that He has promised us a life that is eternal with no more sorrow, sickness or death and someday we will all be together again.

  7. candleWhere do I start to say just how much I will miss my dear old friend. I still can’t believe that you are gone. You and Joe left us way to soon. We shared so many memories with our families. The love we all have for you is unmentionable. You were the best thing Joe got from the M.T.A. I’m glad I was able to have dinner with you, Rachel and Eric. You are now with your good friend and I know he’s happy to see you. Hopefully they’re aren’t any bosses up there where you two can get into trouble. Love and miss you, until we all meet again ❤️

  12. My prayers and love are with the Wilkins family during this difficult time. Dennis was like an uncle to me where I have many memories to cling to (beach, picnic events with Chicago playing in background, helping me through difficult times of my own along with my father, etc.) I will always cherish the dear place he holds in my heart and smile every time I think of him.

It was truly an honor to spend time at such an amazing place with Dennis and family! Knowing I was there because of our heritage makes me treasure the memories that much more! May he Rest In Peace!   22. candlePeople always tell me “I can’t believe you are still close to your childhood friends”. I learned the importance of friendship from my parents who grew up with Dennis and Rachel. I never thought of the Wilkins as my parents’ friends. They are family. Dennis was always laughing and love telling the stories about his days as a bus driver in the city. The adults would crack on Dennis that he is trying to distract us from our cards at the poker table. I will miss Dennis and I’m sending all our love and prayers to Rachel and the whole family. Sleep well Uncle.

  23. My sincere condolences. Dennis, my brother in law, godfather and landlord at one time. He was a great husband to my sister and will be missed dearly by everyone who was lucky enough to know him. What great memories I have as a child, from him taking us out to the park to ride our big wheels, going horse back riding, and fishing. He was like a second father to me.

Even though I’ve only known him a short time Mr. Wilkins is one of the nicest person i met. I will definitely miss him.
