My heart goes out to the whole Family!! I just loved Joan and was so glad we had gotten in touch again; after many years!! Your Dad “Herbie & my Dad Werner, had the Exxon/Car repair Business in Huntington Sta….. So many memories are being recalled right now!! My whole Family just loved Joan and Herb!! They used to have “Barbecues” at your House and we all had a good time… Your Dad was the life of the Party and your Mom was such a sweetheart.. we all (you Ladies)had some great times!! There was one “Sad” occasion I will never ever forget💧Heartbreaking to us all and needless to say ..devastating to your Mom and Dad and you as well!! I was just so happy our Parents had a relationship!! I could go on and on……I just want you to know; from the inner depths of my heart that; I am so heartbroken for all of you!! The last time I saw your Mom and Dad was when they visited us in N.Carolina…. at that time my Mon was already showing signs of Alzheimer’s ….That was such a “Bittersweet” reunion!!
I know no “Words” will ever take away the pain you are enduring right now…. and my Prayers are with you!! My “Solace” has always been that Death takes away the person BUT not the LOVE that forever resides in our Hearts❤️ I know you are a beautiful; loving Family…Joan was so proud of each one of you and the Grandkids…. She knows she was LOVED….her LOVE for you all was endless!! Cherish the precious memories….May God’s loving embrace be felt and give you strength into all of your tomorrows 🙏Love,Ursie….( that’s what your Mom would call me.)❤️
