Born in: Sicily, Italy
Resided in: Smithtown, NY

Antonino “Tony” DeLisi, 72, passed away on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023.

Born on December 8, 1950 in Alcamo, Sicily, he was the son of the late Mariano DeLisi and Francesca D’Angelo. Beloved husband of Antonia DeLisi. Loving father of Francesca (Mike) DeLisi Cruz and Mario (Katelyn) DeLisi. Cherished grandfather of Sofia, Adriana, Luca & Alessia, who referred to him as Nonno. Adored brother of Anna, Vita, and the late Giuseppe.

Tony was an extremely hardworking man, and worked tirelessly at his dry-cleaning business for many years. “Mr. Tony” loved what he did, and always greeted customers with a smile. He retired in 2007 and enjoyed being a snowbird in Florida with his wife Antonia. You would find him often sitting on the balcony looking out to the ocean and smiling, appreciating a more serene life, and admiring the gorgeous sunrise and sunset. Tony’s favorite things to do were spending time with his family and waking up early on a Sunday to catch a Formula 1 race or the latest Juventus game.

Throughout the years, Tony faced many health challenges, yet he persevered through them all. His strong will, resilience and determination enabled him to continuously overcome the health obstacles he faced. His heart finally gave out after years of fighting, and he will now rest alongside his predeceased family members, as well as his late beloved dog, Niko.

Our hearts are filled with much sorrow for you all. Tony to us was a gentle man, a wonderful neighbor and friend! We enjoyed him driving around in his blue mini cooper and his unbelievable tailoring expertise! May Tony rest in peace and may the Delisi Family find comfort in all their wonderful memories of a husband, father and proud Nono. Sending our love, The Sullivan Family
