John Peter Della Croce, 67 of Hicksville, NY, sadly passed away on September 22nd.
John was born in Long Island, NY on September 6, 1956 to Dominick and Theresa Della Croce where he would grow up in Hicksville with his two siblings, Ronald & Roseanne.
After getting his GED, he opened his own electronic manufacturing company and grew a successful business from the ground up over the course of forty years. During that same time, John was a loving father to three children: Melissa, Dominick, & John. His love & kindness towards his children was second only to his five grandchildren: TJ, Ashton, Gracin, Austin, and Hudson.
John was an avid fisherman and boater. He spent his summers in Greenport, NY where he was well loved by the community. John’s natural charisma was contagious which resulted in many friends throughout his lifetime.

He who loves practice without theory is like the sailor who boards ship without a rudder and compass and never knows where he may cast There is but a plank between a sailor and eternity. I know how you loved the sea and your boat may that be your eternity at peace on the sea.

Joe was a really good man with a gold heart and he love to have fun going to the restaurant, beach, he love to been in he’s boat , like to drink red wine , he was a very happy person always smile
He was speak about he’s children and grandchildren with me one time he told me I introduce a beautiful woman to my son and he married with her and have 2 boys he was so happy and he love he’s family Joe I only can said RIP beautiful angel
