Rest iin Peace Andy as you were the BEST!
Andrew was an incredible man who will be missed by many. Our deepest condolences to the whole family. May his memory be a blessing. With love, the Kilgos.
My late wife Brigitte and I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew some 10 years ago through my daughter in law Libia and son Michael. Within a mere ten minutes of our introduction, we knew that Andrew would become a life long friend. He did!! His loving, accepting and never ending energy were truly addictive. Andrew had such an amazing smile and his laugh was very contagious. He was always able to put you at ease with a joke or a story. We always loved hearing his stories of his family and his many adventures. I know that he was a larger-than -life presence in your life and that you all loved him very much. I’m so very sorry that he’s gone. Please know that I’m thinking and praying about Andrew, and your beautiful family today in particular but for always. I will be sending you Andrew, a very loving Husband, a Dad, a Grandfather, a Great Grandfather and a very cherished friend, tons of prayers and love, together with many beautiful smiles coupled with.addictive laughs, as you will forever enjoy your new home in Paradise.
May his beautiful kind soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed rest in peace in heaven for all eternity. And may each and all of you be comforted and strengthened by our Lord as you grieve your profound loss. With deepest love and sympathy, Joan, Roland and Allison
He loved my family in Switzerland and they absolutely adored him. He will be missed by anyone who knew him. Perhaps they can use a Handyman and a lover of people in heaven.
Rest in peace until we see you again ❤️🙏
I’ve known Andy for almost 30 years as a boss, mentor and cherished friend.
In 1995, Carolyn Chin recruited Andrew, Eleanor Speller Guardino, Will Chen, Anthony Wong and I from Citibank to go work with her at IBM to build e-commerce applications on the Internet. We formed a strong bond working together on innovative applications such as B to B purchasing sites for small businesses, online grocery shopping and online retail store sites. It’s too bad IBM abandoned our group’s efforts too soon after only four years, forcing all of us to leave the firm eventually.
I followed Andrew to AIG where he was the executive in charge of national insurance underwriting servicing operations reporting to the president of AIG. As an executive, Andrew was extremely tough and demanding, ably commanding the respect and loyalty of his managers and staff in a dozen major cities across the U.S. where AIG had offices. He very much exemplified the personal qualities needed to be a truly visionary leader! I learned so much from him!
Andrew had a big heart, an infectious smile and a magnetic personality. His friendship meant a lot to me and I always enjoyed seeing him! Always down to earth, Andy was amazingly handy in constantly installing and fixing things in his many houses. His garage contained every power tool imaginable!
My wife Diana and I will miss the BBQ dinners prepared exquisitely by Grace at his beautiful home in East Hampton, as well as our frequent lunches together at Bostwicks Seafood.
We’ll miss his enthusiasm and energy and zest for life. He loved his family and always regaled us with happy stories about his kids and grandkids. We pray strength and comfort for them all, especially for his wife Grace who has cared, loved and stood by him for nearly 30 years.
May Andrew rest in eternal peace in the bosom of our Loving God. He’s smiling radiantly on us now!
Peace and Love,
Chester and Diana Lee
Junior: I’m So Sorry. You will be missed. Rest Well.
I was one of the many fortunate souls that Andy took under his wing and it was life changing for me. Andy is one of the main reasons I achieved the professional success I have today. Until this day, I am still applying what I learned from him at IBM, AIG, and OppenheimerFunds and passing on his teaching to those I now mentor. Thinking back, every interaction I had with Andy was a positive experience because of his bright and larger than life personality. 12 years ago when my son was born, I named him after Andy to show my gratitude for all that he has done for me. May god bless Andy and may he rest in eternal peace.
