To my beloved friend for over fifty years. Thank you for always putting a smile on my face. Since we first met in High School Rich was was a good friend and someone I enjoyed being with. I admired his fierce competitiveness and would never attempt to challenge him in a basketball game. I was always conservative and Rich was the risk taker I.e. Rich bought a beautiful new Mercury cougar with white leather seats ,and I bought a 8 year old Plymouth fury with black material seats. Rich was very popular and introduced me to many of his friends whom I am close with to this day. He enriched many people’s lives with his sincerity, kind heart, great sense of humor and warm hospitality. I can see Rich never lost all these wonderful traits and became very popular at the medical facilities with everyone he came in contact with.
We will truly miss you, but its time for you to carry on as a Angel in heaven with a maker. God Bless you.

To Rich’s Family: Your Dad and Husband was a great man. I met Rich in 1985 where he gave me a shot at Banking working for him at Citibank. He later asked me to join him at Chemical Bank and was always a person that gave great advice, shaped my early career and I learned so much from him. He attended my wedding and gave me my first ever promotion in Banking that night at my reception. Although I have not seen him over 20 years I often thought about him and the impact he had on my life. When I saw this today I was deeply saddened because of the great memories I had with him from the Call Center days where he would host variety shows and him calling me Palo Alto (always had a nickname for someone). I will truly miss him he was a treasure and I am sure he is watching over all of you with a basketball in hand. God Bless you all and my deepest sympathies to you and your family.
