How do I describe “Nana”?
She was the most religious person I know and was never quiet about sharing her beliefs. Living across the street from Linda and Ronny gave me the opportunity to celebrate many occasions with her. My children were her “adopted grandchildren “and we knew that our presence was expected when she was in Yorktown..We will miss our visits with her but know she is Sleeping with the Angels. Rest in Peace Nana..We love you💔💔💔💔

I will miss Van very much. She was always a fun presence with great advice and I enjoyed cooking for her at my Aunt Roma’s house. I saw a lady cardinal today and I’d like to believe that that was her. She had a great life and passed away surrounded by friends and family. May we all be so lucky.

I am so very sorry at the loss of your Mom. Van was a loving and devoted Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma. She loved her family very much and really enjoyed spending time with the entire family. Van was the most devoted Catholic I have ever known and she lived her daily life as a true Christian. I spent a lot of time with Van and the both of us had a lot of fun, laughter and many happy moments together. I miss her very much. Van will always be in my thoughts and memories. Love you very much my friend!
