Lewis A. Lilla

April 4, 1967 ~ July 27, 2024
Lewis A. Lilla was born April 4, 1967 to Maxine Simon & Lewis John Lilla. Louie married the love of his life, his beloved wife, Caroline Lilla, on July 9, 1989, and together they built a beautiful life. His life will forever be cherished in his three children, Richard M. Lilla, Amanda A. Vitale, and Mario J. Lilla. Through the marriage of Amanda to Michael Vitale, Lewis gained another son who he loved like his own.
Louie held many titles in his life, but of all the titles he held, his favorite was Pop-Pop Louie to his three incredible grandchildren, Dominic Lewis (3), Scarlett Ann (2), and Juliette Aida (1).
“Louie was a cherished God father to three of his nieces, Mia Causi, an honor bestowed upon him from his little sister, Romina Causi and brother-in-law, Anthony Causi (predeceased). He also had the honor of being Godfather to Celina Seferian & Tamara Seferian. Louie was a force in our family. He is survived by his mother, Maxine Simon, Mother in Law, Aida Seferian, brother Gerard Della badia, Sister-in-law & their children. He was a beloved Uncle to David Ianelli, Alexa Ianelli, John Causi and a host of Nieces & Nephews.”
Louie will forever be remembered for the loving and kind family man he was. He possessed a distinguished career as a Homicide Detective with the New York City Police Department for 14 years. His confidence and determination allowed him to be the successful businessman he was in several corporations that he started, including North Shore Investigations, Affordable Bails NY and Dynamic Protection Group.
Louie’s humor, compassion, and selflessness has left an imprint on everyone’s life he touched. He was everybody’s “guy.” You needed to be bailed out of jail – “call Louie” you needed the name of a good lawyer “call louie” you needed help hanging a picture frame “call louie” you needed a laugh “call louie” you needed a martini “call louie” you needed anything at all, everyone knew to “call Louie.”
He will be Forever missed and cherished. His legacy will be kept alive in the hearts of those who loved him.

Condolences to the family.
Lewis was without a doubt an amazing man. He was a pillar of strength for his family, friends, coworkers and company.
I will certainly miss those Wednesday morning team calls, random calls to complain, and bouncing ideas around.
I appreciate him and the company taking me under their wing and making me feel appreciated. Til we meet again captain.

I only knew Louie for a short time , He was the one who made me feel like an important person and HELPED me to be a Member of the Dynamic Family!!!
Lewis was my role model since the day we first spoke back in 2020 when I was just working as a part time police officer. Lewis always gave me advice on how to go about and be the best officer and taught me so much from his experiences.
Lewis was looked up not just as my supervisor, but a family member he was always there for me no matter what. I will never forgot this hero and it’s so hard to digest this heart breaking news. My prayers and condolences and thoughts go out to his family and kids. May GOD bless them and I will do anything to keep his business running strong!
RIP Lou
