I didn’t consider myself a good history student yet Mr Franceschini made history interesting and fun. I have good memories of a great teacher. Condolences to his family and community.

Plainedge HS had some good teachers, but Mr. Franceschini was a legend. I work in government and I remember his class to this day. He was tough – but fair – and managed to get us to concentrate and listen. Plus he was funny:). I am sad he is gone but will always be thankful. Sympathies to all of his family and friends.

Frank was my JV basketball coach and 12th grade Social Studies teacher as a member of the PHS class of 1967.. He was one of the main influences on my becoming a Social Studies teacher and coach.. When I started to teach AP American History he met with me and made suggestions that I found quite helpful. He remained a friend through all these years. Just last year he called to tell me he had just played golf with a parent of one of my former players. Several of us who had played for Frank were on a golf outing last year and connected with him on a telephone call and brought back good memories for all. I wish I had called him more recently. He was a great man who will be missed.
Our condolences to you and family on your loss. May God give you the strength to endure
Frank was one of my favorite teachers and a terrific human being. He taught AP History and made it fun. He was a big supporter of all athletes and would come watch you compete, even if you didn’t play on his baseball team. I was grateful to have known him and wish his family peace at this time.
Frank was special. Real Special and he will be missed. There will always be a special place in my memory of one of the nicest guys I ever met.
RIP ole buddy!
