Luigi Tiberia, 77, passed away on April 9, 2025, in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
Born on January 2, 1948, in Ceccano, Italy, Luigi immigrated to the United States as a young boy and grew up in Manhasset, New York. He graduated from Manhasset High School, where he distinguished himself as an accomplished athlete. A proud Vietnam veteran, Luigi served his country with honor and courage. His military service was a source of deep pride and reflected his unwavering commitment to duty and loyalty.
Luigi built a life centered around family and community. He married Marguerite, with whom he shared many cherished years. Together they raised their son Luigi and welcomed daughter-in-law Tracy into the family. One of Luigi’s greatest joys was being a grandfather to Alexa; his love for her was boundless.
Luigi had a gift for connection – he had a friend everywhere and anywhere he went. His warmth and openness left lasting impressions on those fortunate enough to cross his path.
He found great joy in tending to his garden, especially nurturing flowers and fruit trees. His love for nature was evident in the care he gave to every plant and blossom.
Luigi is lovingly remembered by his wife Marguerite; his son Luigi; daughter-in-law Tracy; granddaughter Alexa; his sisters Renza, Antonia, and Josephine; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Guido and Giovanna; brother Mario; and sister Benedetta. He was truly loved by all his family and friends.
His family requests no flowers; spring is a wonderful time to plant flowers in your garden.
